Winter Soldier II: A Grassroots View

On March 13th - 16th, 2008, veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars gathered at the National Labor College in Silver Spring, MD to publicly share their experiences of war, occupation, and Iraq's devastation since the 2003 invasion.

Film makers, Paul Hubbard and Robert Malin attended the hearings called, Winter Soldier - Iraq and Afghanistan. Here they present an activist vision of Iraq Veterans Against the War's historic, landmark event. Featured in the movie are authors Dahr Jamail, Anthony Arnove, Jeremy Scahill, Amy Goodman, Antonia Juhasz, Michael Schwartz, Camilo Mejia, Congressman Dennis Kucinich and dozens of IVAW Winter Soldiers.
