Most online orders are shipped within two business days. Occasionally an item listed will be backordered, but we will notify you by email if this is the case, giving you an estimated ship date and the option to cancel the item.

Visa and Mastercard payments are accepted through our online store.

Academic Inquiries

DESK COPIES

Haymarket Books provides complimentary copies of books assigned as required or recommended reading. Please mail or fax in your request on school letterhead and include the course title and estimated enrollment. If letterhead is unavailable, please send your business card with this information.

EXAM COPIES

Haymarket Books is happy to provide books for consideration. As we are a non-profit publisher, we rely on your assistance in helping to defray our costs. Our examination copy policy is as follows:

• Paperback titles are available for examination for a $5.00 fee per book, payable by check or visa/mc.
• Hardcover titles are available for examination at 25% off list price.
• Requests are limited to three titles per professor per season.
• Requests must be mailed (for check orders) or faxed (for credit card orders) on school letterhead or accompanied by a business card and include all relevant course information.
• Please allow up to four weeks for delivery.

Shipping

All orders placed via our website are shipped via UPS ground or USPS media mail unless an express method is requested when you place your order. Shipping times vary, but orders usually arrive 4-7 business days after they are shipped.

Standard shipping is free on orders over $75.

Returns

Any non-sale item can be returned within 60 days in saleable condition. Sale items cannot be returned. Returns can be shipped to 4015 N. Rockwell, Chicago IL 60618. We recommend sending returns via UPS ground or USPS insured mail.
