About After the End of History: 25 Years of Struggle and Solidarity, an event series presented by Haymarket Books and Truthout:

Haymarket Books and Truthout were both founded in 2001, with George W. Bush in the White House and war hawks circling the halls of power. Over the incredibly tumultuous and eventful political period since then, our organizations have connected organizers, activists, and curious readers with books, essays, and reported pieces that have informed and aided their efforts to understand the world and their struggles to change it.

In this series of live-streamed events, we will focus on several crucial political moments and movements from the last 25 years: the War on Terror and the antiwar movement, the migrant justice struggle, and the fight to abolish police and prisons. Maya Schenwar will revisit these key political junctures and lineages with Haymarket and Truthout authors and comrades, helping to ensure that we do not forget hard-earned lessons from the past as we confront a perilous present.
