Featuring a range of tactics, and in the face of enormous state repression, the SCC movement brought together forest defenders, environmental justice advocates, political prisoners, Indigenous activists, abolitionists, educators, legal scholars, and academics in a struggle for police abolition, environmental liberation, and Indigenous sovereignty.
